Maggie showed no sign of shock when he shifted to a puma. She just grabbed her bag and as just about to turn for the door when she had a face full of sleek, black cat. She giggled when his rough tongue ran the length of her cheek.

"Hmm. No manners, apparently," Maggie commented, with laughter still in her voice. She dropped a hand to run it over the soft head and scratch behind his ears. "It's totally unfair, you know," she said as she locked the cafe door behind her and texted her assistant that she wouldn't be in at all later that day.
