Trusting that to motivate him to at least stay conscious and have a purpose, Bella turned back to Vlad and took a step forward with a low growl. "Now then, Vlad, let's talk."

"They are," Bella smiled, still advancing on the pompous prick, "until they start snacking on the humans. Then they get a little bitchy." She turned towards Levi. "Why were you looking for Vlad here? Has he been a bad boy?"
