I was pretty impressed by what she had done. The illusion she had made was on a pretty big scale, way bigger and far more complex than anything I could ever hope to do. She was going to be feeling that one for a while now, no doubt about it. Still, she should be proud of it.
"Impressive," I said. "Hopefully we don't have anyone swinging by that is looking for a fixer upper. What could you have done that would have used a lot less energy? Not saying it would be a better choice, but what's an alternative for a wizard that maybe doesn't have your gift?"
A spell like I had used to get into the police station to get to the loup garou would have worked well and not taxed her so much. Just making someone see the house but not want to focus on it would have probably been better since now the house stood out, but I didn't want to burst her bubble, she had just done a hell of a major work and should be proud of it.
