Bella scowled at him. "I'd tell you to bite me, but you'd probably just crack a tooth and from what I can see, you're already busted up enough as it is. But you're right, I don't drink alcohol. I can, but it's a pain in that ass you can't seem to stop talking about to have to throw it back up later."
The reminder of his injuries had her scanning them quickly, glad to note the blood there wasn't flowing any longer. That, at least, made it easier to keep talking.
"I can imagine a room full of cops would just love to have a vampire stroll in. We're the bad guys, remember?"
